BCG DV is a commercial workplace fit-out for Boston Consulting Group Digital Ventures, a global venture capital firm. Ciliberto Architects were engaged in collaboration with Antelope Strategic Consultant’s to develop and design a functional brief and zoning masterplan for the expansion of their Sydney office.

Our approach centred on engagement with company stakeholders and cohort leaders to create a detailed workplace brief accommodating a range of workplace modes and typologies that reflect BCG DV’s workplace culture.

Ciliberto was further engaged to prepare a scheme for the expansion of the Sydney offices located within the heritage-listed Metcalfe Bond Building in The Rocks district of Sydney’s CBD. The existing offices occupied one floor, the expansion project extended the occupancy by another two floors. 

The resulting proposal aimed to be both flexible and scalable, to accommodate a growing workforce while balancing the need for mixed-use spaces that cater to collaborative creative teams large and small, as well as individual high- and low-focus zones. The extent and nature of the fit out, security and circulation were carefully considered to create efficiency in the internal planning while respecting the heritage fabric of the existing building. The final concept plan required extensive consultant coordination; the full list of consultants is listed below. Ciliberto prepared co-ordinated architectural packages for; the landlord, Property NSW, client sign-off, prior to preparing a DA package for council approval and tendering.
